ABOUT CHRISTY
Christy’s obsession with celebrities and love of pop culture fueled her to start a blog before blogging even existed. Growing up in tiny New Ulm, Minnesota she taught herself web programming at age 12 and began making her mark on the internet.
While studying Broadcast Journalism at St. Cloud State University Christy anchored the local news and perfected her writing and live reporting skills. So when E! offered her an internship the wannabe TV host was more than ready to hit Hollywood.
Christy loved working behind the scenes but knew she belonged in front of the camera. So she began producing and hosting daily celebrity news videos. With her passion for pop culture, dynamic personality and the journalism skills to back it all up, the project quickly developed into a popular YouTube channel and web site, CHRISTYreports Hollywood.
CHRISTYreports.com garnered over 500,000 unique monthly visitors. Her videos have earned Christy millions of YouTube hits. While she continued covering red carpet events and breaking entertainment news on her web site, Christy also hosted for several network shows.
She appeared as the pop culture expert on Hollywood 911, a Reelz Channel series featuring stories of celebrities' trouble with the law. Thanks to her success as a YouTuber, Christy also co-hosted two episodes of The Maury Show called 'Festive Fails and Holiday Havoc Caught on Video.'
But the editor-in-chief of CHRISTYreports.com gained unparalleled experience as a host and producer at former E! host Maria Menounos' network, AfterBuzz TV. There Christy hosted live "after shows" for some of television's top programming, and worked behind the scenes as a writer, segment producer, guest booker, and more.
In March 2017 Christy Olson took on the name Christy St. Cloud and joined the world's top sports entertainment company, WWE. She hosted live shows for thousands of fans and conducted backstage interviews on the WWE Network.
Christy is a creative force behind the scenes too. She was the producer of Conversations with Maria Menounos, a top radio show on Sirius XM Stars featuring the Emmy-winning host. She currently hosts and produces After 83 Weeks, a post-show for Eric Bischoff's popular 90s wrestling talk show.
In addition to reality TV and professional wrestling, Christy also loves her rescue dog, Barney, historical fiction novels, hiking at Runyon Canyon and Vegan junk food.
